We adhere to all HIPAA requirements and are in compliance with all federal and state laws governing personal health information.

Our Staff

For over 25 years, our experienced team of physicians and ancillary staff has been led by medical director and owner, Dr. Dennis L. Thrasher.  Sunnyside MediCenter offers the expertise of two Board-certified Occupational Health Physicians, and all certifications held by our staff are current. By keeping up-to-date with the latest medicial studies and information available, our staff is able to offer the best care for our patients and companies.

Medical Director: Dennis L Thrasher

Dr. Thrasher is a board certified occupational medicine physician with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Thrasher is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, and served 8 years in the US Air Force as an RF-4 pilot. Following his military service, he attended and graduated from the University of Arizona School of Medicine in 1982 and opened his private medicial practice in 1985. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a BS in Aeronautical Engineering, an MBA from the University of Utah, as well as an MPH from the University of Arizona.

Dr. Thrasher is also a FAA Designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner, a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, a Certified medical review officer, an AZPOST examiner, and a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Certified Medical Examiner.
